•upscale safe private gated 2 acres . •Private King bed and bath room for two persons 350sq ft in the front of home (no shared indoor space). Fridge & Microw. Window overlooks peaceful old oak trees. Hosts live in back of the home with a fantastic labrador!
•Private & safe, park in view from studio. Boat or trailer parking available& boat ramp .5mi
•Only registered guests allowed!!. No Parties! No other persons allowed on property, no exceptions. One non aggressive dog by approval (no other pets). No delieveries. Must have a car. Perfect for what I needed
I needed a place to stay a few nights by myself because my wife was not able to come with me. I didn't want to pay for a large unit a hotel with amenities I would not use, such as a conference room, free breakfast, office with a printer, etc. This was priced perfectly and was basically equal to a hotel room, only not as costly. The pool is nice, but I did not have time to use it. The bed was very comfortable. I have degenerative disc disease and have to sleep on a level bed, not one that sags like a hammock. I parked just a few steps from the front door. The owners responded immediately to anything I needed and gave me more than I asked for. The gated neighborhood was very secure.

Perfect for private relaxation.
Loved our host . I like to fish and swim so it was great to have a cool dip in the pool while watching my fishing poles.Also enjoyed grilling out by the pool .The yard was very nice with cute sitting areas everywhere.The location was close to everything we needed great restaurants,shopping,and the beaches.I will definitely return.I love the Jacksonville Amelia Island area.

Bad Place To Rent
The wife was rude and racist. She canceled my stay and never returned my money. I wouldn’t recommend no one to deal with her the pool was dirty also. And they have a time limit on going to the dock which they don’t mention

Wonderful Hosts
Shari and her husband were wonderful! The place is nestled in many Spanish Moss and orange trees and many plants around the front sitting area giving a very cozy secluded feel. Many of Shari’s artwork is hung in the room, very talented young woman. Though we weren’t on the property very much, they made us feel very welcomed and at home. Had a reading with Shari just before we left which was very insightful. Would highly recommended staying here

Place was delightfully quiet and peaceful. Host was on-site but unseen unless needed. There was a bit of a stumble in understanding how to use the main gate pass, but it was worked out. The refrigerator wiring or plug needs attention as it would not stay on reliably, a concern for us as my wife needs daily medicine that needs to be kept cool. We managed. And the tub drain needed attention. Location was good, central for us as we spent our days from Cumberland Island to Amelia to St. Augustine. And very convenient to JAX airport. Sadly, never had a chance to use the pool or dock.

Its a room with a bathroom. Guest parking had weeds wirh thorns that cut my leg and hickory nuts falling on vehicle. Stepped in several piles of dog poop. Pool had leaves and limbs in it. Couldn't get scanner to read bar code to enter neighborhood. We left after 2 days. But this,was the week of hurricane. Felt as being watched all the time due to messages recieved while we were there. Water had a bad odor and yellow flies were bad

nice gated community but 1st thing we noticed was a filthy coffee maker..the refrigerator was not working properly, the water pipes must have been old and rusty causing a horrible rotten egg smell, which made it very unpleasant to shower...after a shower it left rusty residue in the tub. there were too many rules, making us feel like children.. there were dog hairs on the sheets and duvet..we will not stay here again...

Get away to Amelia Island area
My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Original plans were to go to niece's wedding in Pennsylvania but Covid change her/our plans so we went for warmer weather. Could not beat the cozy room and the retro mini fridge and microwave were adorable. Would definitely stay again if in the area.. Cute labs with wagging tails were an added perk.
