MORE INFO:
From the moment you walk through the door, you know this home is all about the views, with arguably one of the best in Jackson Hole. This exclusive home is carefully sited on more than 5 acres, nestled into the hillside in the Solitude neighborhood north of town. It boasts breathtaking, sweeping views from every room, with the full unobstructed Teton range to the east and the Sleeping Indian to the west. This 5,100 square foot, 4 bedroom, 5.5 bath open concept home has been meticulously renovated, to capture a relaxed mid-century mountain modern style. Warm woods, bright, airy finishes, soaring ceilings and an abundance of natural light fill this one of a kind home.
Light pours into the main 2-story living area, boasting richly stained beams, a substantial see-through stone fireplace and sky high ceilings, perfectly framing the Grand with panoramic 32 foot floor to ceiling windows. On the other side of the fireplace, curl up for family movie night on oversized bean bags or the down filled hide-a-way queen sofa. Step out onto the deck and sip a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the mountains and the occasional moose or elk as they wander past, all overlooking a rustic modern fire pit.
The upper living space adjoins the eat in kitchen, complete with a stone fireplace, bar area, professional appliances, walnut cabinetry and dining table accommodating 10, as well as bar seating for 4. Off the kitchen, step out onto the second outdoor space where you can savor morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the Sleeping Indian. Flowing seamlessly from the kitchen is one of several welcoming seating areas, perfect for entertaining.
The home offers thoughtful contemporary design with a split floorplan, providing maximum privacy for the primary suite at the north end. In the master bath, unwind in the deep soaking tub, while gazing at the Sleeping Indian, or relax under the rain head in the oversized shower. In the master bedroom, switch on the modern natural gas fireplace and settle into the cozy armchairs at the foot of a king bed, as you take in the expansive Grand Teton view.
In the two remaining guest suites, each has a cathedral ceiling and sitting area with a wall of windows where you can absorb the grandeur of the mountains. Each bath has a walk in shower and a window, bathing the room with natural light. One suite has two twin beds and the other has one queen bed.
The fourth bedroom is an old west style bunk room, with charming rustic wood walls and 3 log built twin bunks, sleeping 6 with 3 extra twin mattresses if needed for more sleeping space.
This home is perfectly situated between downtown Jackson and Grand Teton National Park, the crossroad of nature and culture. The neighboring airport makes arrivals and departures a breeze. This home is visually breathtaking while wholly welcoming. Just like Jackson Hole.
