"This is a wonderful little spot in eastern Germany, quite off the beaten bath and a little hard to find. Very clean, large spacious rooms, comfortable and quiet. Our minimal German got us most of the way through checking in, but the desk clerk found someone from the kitchen that could speak English. They were very pleasant and helpful. "Location Location Location! Crowning a mountain in stunning wilderness, surrounded by walking paths, quaint villages and ancient castles and churches, it's a beautiful place. Welcomed by the owner, Torsten, who grew up here and whose family ran it before him. As a solo traveller, he went out of his way to make me welcome, even walking down into a local village with me for dinner one night.
