"This is the most unique stay I've ever had. It is a converted Hacienda and the rooms have names, not numbers. We stayed in Poppy, one of the large rooms on the main building. The ceilings must have been 18 feet tall and the rooms are gorgeous. There is no door between the main room and the restroom; only a curtain. The shower is enormous and beautiful, but the water pressure was low. The included breakfast was delicious, but this is in the countryside and there are critters flying around. It's also incredibly warm. There's no parking lot, only a grassy area. You have to leave the road on a side road to get here, so don't turn exactly when the GPS tells you unless you want to drive down a rocky hill. The air conditioner doesn't keep it cool to American standards. You can use the Jet mode to get a little more air out of it. I also travel with a little USB fan. There is a ceiling fan that helps a little. We would stay here again. Izamal is a lovely city. This is about 3 mile out of town. The staff were very friendly. I speak Spanish so I don't know how well they speak English. "

"Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Air is cold, which is important in Merida. Excellent value. Receptionist does not speak English, so that may be an issue with some guests, though we knew enough Spanish to get by."

"Our stay at the Buenosdias was amazing! The friendly host was always available to help. The pool and surrounding area was all very natural looking and tranquil. The hammocks were wonderful. We spent a lot of our time in Izamal just at the hotel because it was so relaxing. It was very difficult to leave."

El hotel no es barato y los amenities brillan por su ausencia, un simple jabón de manos que hace la función de gel de baño un shampoo y un acondicionador es lo único que hay. El estado de las toallas en la habitacion, spa y piscina es deplorable, la calidad del juego de cama de cálida inferior a lo que uno paga. La piscina fría. Con cosas simples el hotel de una habitación podría tener las 5 estrellas. "
