Family getaway
There was the perfect amount of space for our large family with all the amenities you’d need. The kids loved the pools and on site hot tub. We only wished we stayed longer. We definitely plan to come back.

Beautiful House but Resort Needs Rethinking
I hesitated to write this review, but ultimately decided to break it down between the house and the Arcadia Resort which will hopefully help people in understanding exactly what to expect, as I look at reviews to help me in my decision making. The house itself is beautiful! We loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms, the size, the firepit, large kitchen and comfortable beds. It was short on garbage bags, laundry soap, dish soap, etc... even salt and pepper. For the size of the house, a second fridge/freezer in the garage would be super nice. We would totally love to stay here again! However... there are some things about Arcadia Resort that are a real downer. 1. There are a LOT of rental homes at Arcadia, which typically have a LOT of people staying at them. The pool area is not that big, and Arcadia sells day passes to locals, which completely overwhelms the already crowded pool and activity centers. 2. The pool area itself is not clean. There are a lot of moldy areas. With the amount of people crowding in, it should be continually power washed. 3. There aren't nearly enough tubes for the lazy river, which is arguably the biggest attraction. I feel like Arcadia could really turn this around by only letting people who are staying at Arcadia use the facilities and keeping it clean and well stocked. We would love to make this a yearly trip, but the pool area is a big negative as it currently stands.

Relaxing and Fun
This new, well maintained, well equipped and conveniently located property was so much fun and so relaxing at the same time. We spent so much time on the patio around the firepit and in the hot tub just talking and having fun. Then, the rest of the house was so beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We all slept so well. The mattresses were so comfortable. The pool and lazy river was also a great time. All around a great place to stay!
