"Great hotel right in the centre of the old town. The staff were warm and welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offered a great choice of food and fruit. Hotel atmosphere is unique with peace and quiet in the central courtyard. Definitely a unique experience and well worth a visit. No hesitation recommending this hotel for a few days stay in Alghero."

" It’s called HOSTEL Balai not Hotel - BIG difference. It was closed on arrival (14:00) so no 24hr reception. The staff left in the early evening so only guests left in the building! The bar was shut. The room was small and hostel-like It is very rundown. Only stay for a night if you have to. Lack of staff worrying for women travelling alone. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Antonello’s house. It is very homely and authentic- Antonello and Gabry were welcoming but respected our privacy. They were on hand though if we needed them for anything. The house is in a rural location so you really need a car if you want to explore all that Sardinia has to offer. Ossi and Tissi are about 20 minutes walk and have a few cafes and small shops. Gemini bar in Tissi is fab. Alghero is lovely and about 40 minutes drive. The garden and pool were great...
