"It was a clean and functional stopover hotel in a smallish town at a shinkansen transfer station. Does have restaurant and public separated baths for nice soak after a days travelling. Staff were nice and friendly. I would go there again if in the area."

"The location of this property and the views from the rooms incredible. The facilities they provided at the hotel including table tennis tables, space invaders, kids pool and an area which had free drinks including a self pouring beer machine and icecreams. Great onsen area which were spacious and lots of areas where you could sit with comfy chairs and drinks machine. Only downside for us as swimmers, they have a pool but it is only available to children only between certain hours and no-one can use it any other time, otherwise this place was a slice of heaven."

"Wonderful hotel close to the entrance to the alpine route. Rooms are beautifully appointed. Beds are very comfortable and have soft and hard pillows available on the bed. Onsen is clean and offers both indoor and outdoor option. Customer service is excellent. Front desk is efficient , courteous and helpful. Food at restaurant is excellent. Buffet has many Japanese and western options. They are very good at addressing allergies and food presences. Highly recommend to add to your booking the evening and the breakfast buffet ( it’s is not only delicious but also much cheaper than adding at hotel). Highly recommended! "

"One of the less expensive places to stay that I could find. Good value for the price. Helpful, friendly staff - they sorted my ticket for the gondola / lift pass at Tsugaike Kogen, and shuttle bus. Clean (even though a little older). 10 min. walk to Happo-one bus station and dining options. Great breakfast buffet."
