booked hotel 3 days before arrival to that place. Met on very unfriendly guy at the reception who denied me to check in. He stated that he allegedly did not confirm the booking. He showed me that my booking could be found in the system on his PC, but still denied to check in saying that he didnt confirm the booking to expedia allegedly. He was not bothered to work at all and need to emphasize that he was very rude. He "forced" me to call Expedia, since I already paid everything with them. Expedia lady talked to him for a moment, and again on his very rude way he told her no booking in the system and bye... Lady from Expedia was very surprised the way he handled the things. Once i continued talking to Expedia on the phone and we were trying to find solution, he approached to me and said its everything fine. Very weird situation. I think since the place is quite new, the employees are not aware of the fact what contract means and the way, and i think they wanted to sell the room to higher price then the one i booked few days earlier. Afterwards it was very fine, but guys please be aware, since i travel the word and never ever experienced such way of behaviour. Just keep that in mind. Location is good actually, if you need to be close to Taksim and Istklal street. Hotel as a such is very loud, and the walls are thin. It could be very hot in the summer. Actually if you ask me, i would not recommend this place purely due to staff behaviour which is not acceptable.
