great location excellent front desk service modern and clean and comfortable rooms windows have no screens so mosquitos may sleep with you but each room has effective HVAC. will return and stay there again!

The staffs are friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable stay. The location is convenient, with easy access to all the tourist attractions like blue mosque, basilica cistern, topkapi palace and Hagia Sophia. All in all, a nice place to stay while in Istanbul.

I was there for vacations with my partner . We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 10 days . I am definitely recommending this hotel for , quality price, next to the famous hippodrome. I have to say a special thank you to Mr. Orkan , who was a very humble and nice gentleman.

The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and kind, the sea view was amazing, both at sunrise and senset and the location it's perfect, close to every important place of Istanbul. This was my first time staying in Istanbul, the hotel staff was very helpful in arranging for transport to and from airport at ok price, and in giving suggestions for activities. Walking distance to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, as well and Grand Bazar. Only criticism is that the room had smell of smoking in it, so i had to keep the airconditioner fan working the whole time to get rid of the smell.

The hotel lies in a walking distance to the old bazar and the museums, the traffic in the area is horrible, so be aware not to rent a car if you are staying in this area in general. The hotel itself is old, but kept functional as much as possible, it is clean with daily room service. Rooms of reasonable size, the views towards Marmara sea are good from the top floor. As good as a budget hotel can be, functional clean rooms, and polite and helpful staff. The roof terrace was closed as per previous reviews so i doubt if it will ever be open.

Nothing really positive to say about this hotel. The service was fine but not really good. Comfortable for that price but not clean as we would expect any hotel room. When asking for recommendations, they sent us to tourist traps or to very bad restaurants.

The staff was polite and respectable. They did their best to help us.The hotel is clean. Our reservation was a standard room, but they put us in the first day in an economy room, but in the second day they transfered us to a standard room. Something which was very disappointed, there was a door between us and the next room, we could hear everything from the voice of the next guests !! it was so disturbable!!

They used picture on the site form 2004 . The hotel does not look like the picture it is catfishing . Staff are rude especially the cleaning lady she was rolling her eyes every time I asked for something. She got mad a few time she was yelling at her language at us . Rude, dirty and stinks of smoke. Did not help with luggage and made us feel intimidated. The practically kicked us out from their lobby after arriving early hours of the morning while waiting for check in. Toilets are disgusting and dirty. Luggage was left in the corridor where any one could have walked off the street and taken it. Unsafe and not family friendly. Would never ever recommend. We have to pay an extra £800 to stay at another hotel. The workers here are liars - lying to Expedia saying we had check in and that we were given a deluxe room - lies! We booked standard and we didn’t even get to the room after your rudeness!

Terrible customer service. Booked connected rooms 3months in advance. When arrived, staff said to wait for 2 hours as no room is available and then allocated two separate rooms. Washrooms exhaust were out of service. After complaining, changed the room after 2 nights stay. Water supply was cutoff one morning for 3hours without any notice that ruined our schedule for entire day.. Specially requested to extend our check out time as international flight was late at evening but they didn't listen and refused. Staff is rude and unpleasant. Not recommended at all. Poor customer service.

The worst hotel in Istanbul
One of the worst hotel in Istanbul every year we travel to Istanbul and we book hotel but this hotel is the worst one. the employees are very abusive and rude I don’t know how such peoples running the hotel Zero respect for the guest No Hi No bye. So noisy hotel the restaurant is in the first floor and 5 Am the start to make the breakfast and we couldn’t sleep because of sound. There is no soundproofing in this hotel you can ear when other guests talking in another rooms. Absolute not for the family with the small kids because the bed size is 160 m so can’t sleep two adult and one kid. In four days I went 3 times In reception asking for toilet paper funny but for a 4 star hotel is very shameful. The employees smoking in first floor they don’t care if there is kids sitting there and even we feel smoke in our room at night. I will never come back to this hotel and I will recommend for everyone specially for family with the kids don’t book this place. Ob: when you touch the TV remote control please was you hands it’s so dirty.
