The room was clean, and the air conditioning was working properly. Though not luxurious, it’s great for the price. The only complaint would be how the shower space had no slides, making the whole bathroom soaked every time I used the shower.

Our room was small but very well kept. The surrounding area is made up of very narrow and steep streets. Interesting part of the city! Not your average hotel. The owner was very helpful a number of times.

The area, ironically, is very safe neighborhood than what it looks, and considering the price, it is definitely a place where you can enjoy the “local life,” but it is true that the neighborhood is dirty and looks sketchy. Also, the room looked clean at first, but there are some places that may not be as clean as it looks. Nonetheless, it is close to the local bus stops and not very far from Taksim square, so it is worth trying.
