Nice room and the hotel had a restaurant and rooftop terrace with views over the Bosphorus. Less than 5 mins walk to Agia Sofia.

Super friendly staff and a great central location. The hotel needs a bit of improvement works. Our room looked a bit shabby, the sink in the bathroom leaked (reported to staff), the shower leaked on to the bathroom floor (reported to staff). The curtains did not close fully so the early morning light woke us up very early. Breakfast included however we did not have it every morning as a limited choice. Would not go back as there is many more hotels to choose from.

The hotel is in a fantastic part of Istanbul - very close to all of the main attractions. We had the apartment which was huge with very comfortable beds. The staff were lovely and very friendly. We did find that the apartment wasn’t well ventilated though and a bit smelly. Otherwise, perfect for a quick getaway in great location.

Lovely area but unfortunately my daughter’s very expensive headphones were stolen from her bag. We’d left our luggage in the hotel for an hour while waiting on our room to be ready. Staff did not take the theft seriously and were loathe to check cctv. When I managed to persuade them to check cctv they couldn’t find the date. We were only there 2 days. Couldn’t really enjoy it as kept wondering was there something else stolen.

Great place overall but needs new carpet. The view from terrace is outstanding and you will have a lot of time to enjoy it as you wait for breakfast -- the food is good but you have to order it and then wait about 20 min. I will bring my travel journal next time.

Nice hotel in a Wonderful location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Roof top views were just beautiful. A/C worked and plenty of hot water. Elevator in building if you can’t do stairs. WiFi worked amazingly.

Good points and bad points
The location of the hotel is fantastic. Only 150m from the Blue Mosque and 300m from Hagia Sofia Mosque. There is one English speaking young staff and he was friendly. There is a roof top covered terrace with beautiful views of the Bosporus and surroundings. Breakfast and other meals are served there. It’s very nice. Also an open rooftop lounge area for evening relaxing. However, my room was in a poor condition. The safe did not lock. The shower cubicle leaked water continuously into the bathroom. I complained on day one and nothing was done. On day three, after a further heated complaint, a temporary repair was made. Also most of the staff seem to be unaware that their hotel offers a laundry service and I was declined when I first asked at reception. Though I did receive a good service after speaking directly to the housekeeper. I stayed for six nights. For the room price, overall it was ok but improvements need to be made. Finally, if you are looking for “BK Boutique” you may not be able to find it, because the signage actually says “By Kinyas Hotel”

Hidden gem, truly. The staff is super friendly. They have a beautiful terrace with a fantastic view. Location is also wonderful. I definitely will stay again upon my return to Istanbul.

Amazingly clean, great location close to all main famous historical sites and shopping areas, the staff are so wonderful and very friendly, the receptionist speaks excellent English as well as the restaurant staff. This is my fourth time at this hotel and Recommend it indeed.

Hidden Gem
An emergency meant I had to quickly find a place within budget. As a solo traveller this meant safe, clean and welcoming. This little hotel ticks all those things but the staff are what made my stay memorable. Harun went out of his way to make sure that I got where I needed to be and checked in on me throughout the whole emergency, even negotiations with the cost of my transport last minute. On top of all this wonderful service, the location makes this hotel worthy of 5 stars.

I had such an amazing time, staying at the BK Beautiful room, breakfast and stunning views. Everything within walking distance. A very special thank you to Borash and Emr. Also to Shuaib in restaurant, so helpful. Fabulous hosts, friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed chatting with them both. A real credit to this lovely hotel.
