Very disapponted in term of cleanliness, convenience, hotel check in and staffing problem. No internet wifi , television and hot water does not working properly, bath towel did not change and garbage is not thrown away for three days stay in this hotel.

The worst experience with hotels .com
On 03/02/2017 I booked 3 rooms in "Artemis Old City Hotel including free car park facilities for our two cars. After booking, I made a call to hotels to confirm that they have car park facilites and they told me that they did have a free car park, which i s a 5 miniute walk away from the back of the hotel. The Next day we drove 5 hours from Ankara to Istanbul to the hotel. The receptionist gave us three forms to sign and then walked upstairs with us in order to give us the rooms. I asked him for the directions to the free car park, but he told us that there is no free car park and you can pay for the car park at the back of the hotel, which is not linked to the hotel or its deals. I told him we booked the rooms with free car park and he imphasised that there is no car park and if you want I will cancel your rooms. I told him to cancel our reservation and then we immediatly left their hotel, without occupying any room and went to another hotel and paid more to stay there.Then, I immediately called booking .com on the same day and described the matter. The employee told me to hold, whilst he was talking to the hotel manager and the manager told him that we have car park facilities at the back of hotel. However, the manager was not stating the truth as the parking was not owned by their company. when they break a part of this agreement with me this means they overrided their agreement with the customer and legally have to refund the amount but the hotels.com did not refund.

Ruined my vacation
One the worst experience I had in hotel in my life the air conditioner was not working in my all stay the room was dirty they don't have any cleaner to clean the rooms the staff even worse they were not helpful I recommend this hotel to no one please don't stay in this hotel.

Expedia secret deal shambles
Not happy with expedia. The hotel was picked by Expedia on there secret deal offer, they guarantee a good hotel but what i was given was not. Visit other review sites about the hotel a d you csn see why i had an issue. I didnt get a refund so i won't be using expedia due to false advertising

Lovely hotel with friendly staff
The hotel manager (Owner) was very friendly and welcoming, which made us enjoy our time there even more. The staff at the reception were very helpful and always available. The best place in the hotel is the terrace, it has a beautiful view and is a relaxing place.

Not a clean hotel but very close to atractions
The positive side of this hotel is that it's close by Blue Mosque and all other atractions. Hotel has beautiful terrace with nice view to Blue Mosque BUT there are some negative sides that can be fixed but the hotel staff don't try to fix them: cleaness of the rooms are terriable; bathroom looks like it's not cleaned before, it's full of hairs and after you take a shower whole bathroom is in water...but they have a good price and hotel is close to atractions.

underwhelmed.
Unexpected unpleasant events at check in! My booking confirmation was rejected by check in staff and when i pointed the app paragraph, he questioned my ability to read and speak English. I had to pay again at exorbitant room rates but got back refund after staff clarified with Hotel.com Perhaps Hotel.com should improved procedures to iron out possibility of guecst feeling stranded on arrival in strange country after long flight from Australia.

A Yesilkoy Gem
The hotel is a perfect location to be away from the busy streets of Istanbul, and only 10 minute drive to Atatürk airport This was made better by the welcome from the owner and staff. The decor of the hotel and the room was fascinating and it was the best night sleep we had in Turkey

unpleasant stay
When i booked a room in this hotel i expected to be small family room without any option , but we get a very small room with no place for our suitcase,an uncleaned room smelling badly from bathroom and an old broken refrigerator,add to this noise and sounds from outside and other rooms . the good things are the place of the hotel and the WiFi.

'Great' bedroom
The hotel did not give the room that we booked so instead of for 4 people they give room for 3. But they still did charge us with the same price without refund for smaller room. The best thing of all, if they mentioned single bed, you're going to get a coffin size single bed. It is very very very small. A bad experience for me and my friends, so just go for another better hotel, like seriously.

Basic accommodations in convenient location
The accommodations are very basic which is fine if that is all you are looking for. The location is great - very close to the Blue Mosque (but this means you hear the calls to prayer loud and clear) and only a few blocks from the tram line.

This is my second time in Istanbul and definitely this hotel very cheap and very centeral plus good Wifi at rooms. Brealfast was so little actually nothing tomention except coffe, tea and some small butter cheese things! For people with small budget definitely worth but don't think so for couples or families!

You get more than what you pay for.
100% trustable people, good breakfast, but small rooms, and not good looking hotel. If you're fat, stairs might bother. If you just looking for somewhere safe to sleep and you don't care about luxury, this is where you go. If i go back to Istanbul, I'll go there again.

Vi bokade och betalade för 7 dagar. Bilderna på internet såg fina och rena ut men själva hotellet är som mardröm. Jättesmutsigt, mögeldoft, smutsiga sängkläder, fläckar på väggen, gammalt skick,ingen kyl och ingen kassaskåp. Det kliade hela natten. Det var inte en enda handduk och badduk. Vi var 3 personer och vi alla var chockade över hur dåligt detta ställe var. Det är ingen hotell alls, ingen 3 stjärna. Vi kom sent på kvällen och gick därifrån direkt nästa dagen till en mycket bättre hotell. Vi fick inga pengar tillbaka och personalen var otrevlig.
