Also you can easily get to San Marco by foot. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs. The rooms are packed with amenities. "

"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

The rewards are more well than you can imagine! This hotel is an amazing kind and remakably cool place. It reminds me of a really upscale brothel in design. Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again.
