First floor/ ground level apartment. Not a basement! Just 1 small step to enter the apartment from the driveway.

The local pizzeria and deli are a few blocks away, other takeout locations and restaurants are less than 1 mile away; or order in with plenty of restaurant options on Seamless and Grub Hub.

It's a quick drive (~9 min.) to a waterfront clam bar and grill.

Perfect for our short stay
Scott’s place was perfect for our short stay on the island. It’s location made it easy to travel to the North Fork for a day in wine country while also allowing us to catch-up on tasks we needed done on the island. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

My husband & I were in town for a wedding. It was a nice place for just the two of us. Quiet neighborhood. Close to everything including the airport. The fireplace out back was nice. Would stay here again if in the area.

Compact, modern, clean
Small, but very functional and neat. There were three of us here for about a week. Nice outdoor furniture to sit in. It was a bit rainy while we were there so didn't spend much time enjoying it, but nice when we did. Host is very attentive. Would recommend and would also stay there again.

This little hidden jewel is in a lovely quiet location convenient to everything. It is super clean and the host was wonderful to deal with , even when I completely screwed up on our check out. I recommend it highly :).

Scott was proactive in his communication and super responsive. The unit was clean and cozy and easily accessible from both Sunrise Highway and Southern State Parkway. The a/c window unit was loud but effective! I would definitely stay here again!

6 night stay at Scott’s rental
The property was lovely. Everything was clean and working. We had everything we needed. We were on LI to visit friends and relatives so did not spend a lot of time in the apartment, but there was everything you would need to cook meals if needed. We would rent here again in the future.

The rental was beautiful all around!
We were so pleased with this rental unit - the accommodations were up-to-date in décor, comfortability, and truly restful! The host always reached out (from booking, during and post our stay) to assure that we had everything we needed. Location for this unit was easy to find within this quiet established residential area. Boasting about our stay, relatives wanted to see the unit for future referrals, and the host had no problem with me showing it off! I highly recommend you take advantage of this listing - I know we will return!

Great Stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. We were up in the area of my brother’s engagement party. It is in like a shared multi family house but we never once heard the other tenants. It was exactly as pictured online. The futon was pretty comfortable too! The real bed was also great. The host, Scott, was also extremely responsive. My only negative thing to say is that it did not have a cookie sheet, but we bought a foil one to use which was totally fine. They even had a whole drawer of spices & oil/vinegar to use! Also, the firepit was great!!! We will definitely be back and will be recommending this to our friends and family.

Peaceful getaway
I’m from out of state and was looking for somewhere safe, peaceful, and affordable for a Long Island vacation for me and my boyfriend. This listing stood out and did not disappoint. Scott was a great host, very nice and communicative, and the property was exactly as described and very clean. It was within 10-30 minutes of every place we went. Scott’s recommendations for where to go were great! We liked the Islip area, though it was also very close to Bayshore which we loved and visited almost every day. It was exactly the sort of safe and quiet space I was looking for coming back from a day out.

Comfortable accommodation
This property is not much to look at from the outside but it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and has two off street parking spaces located right outside which we appreciated. Inside, it is exactly as pictured with many thoughtful touches that made the property feel homely. It was spotlessly clean, the queen bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Our adult daughter stayed with us on our first night and, at nearly 5ft 7”, found the futon/sofa bed a little too short and somewhat uncomfortable. The only AC unit is in the living room and it is loud - bring ear plugs! We didn’t use the kitchen to prepare any meals but it appeared well stocked and there was a variety of coffee/tea pods to choose from. We would stay again.

Wish we could've stayed longer!
Lovely unit, smelled and looked incredibly clean, and fully stocked (including a pack and play that appeared to be in great condition. Unfortunately, the area was experiencing incredibly frigid temperatures, and most homes (including those of my area family members) had a hard time staying warm. My husband and I would've been ok with this, but we had our 5 month old with us and he is way too picky about sleep so we had to check out and go elsewhere. Before even having to ask, the host apologized, offered a refund and even found a local hotel to suggest to us instead. If we are back in the area and need accomodations, we will be back!

The place was great! The host though of everything, literally. Things that you wouldn't think would even be needed were there. Everything was excellent, cozy and very welcoming. Peace and quiet
Super cute apartment with lots of personal touches that is perfect for one person or a couple. The host was quick to respond with any questions. I have family in Islip so I’ve stayed at two other rentals in the area and this was by far the best. It is in a modest neighborhood of homes that are well taken care of. It is also nice knowing you have a dedicated parking spot. The best part of the stay for me though was the quiet. The only thing that woke me up in the morning were the birds. I’m hoping the apartment is available the next time I’m in town.

A very nice stay
We came up from Fl for our granddaughter’s birthday . We stayed Wednesday to Wednesday . Our flight came in very late and we had no trouble finding or getting into our apt. Very clean and well maintained . Plenty of hot water for showers . It was perfect for our stay and Scott always answered right away if we needed to contact him . We will be staying there again in the summer

Cute little place
We enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute little place. The place was clean and in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are several excellent restaurants within a few minutes of driving distance. We spent a day at the Heckscher State Park beach, which is nearby. We were planning to visit the Bayard Cutting Arboretum but couldn't because it started raining. Overall, a nice stay.
