"Arrived to a clean, well decorated cottage. Smaller than expected for four adults. The view made up for any shortcomings. A small screened in porch, a deck, large flat granite rocks, the outside seating options are numerous. Best part of our day, coffee on the deck watching lobster boats, hearing loons, marveling at the sunrise. Be aware the use of the fireplace is prohibited. Would have been great on a rainy day. "I cannot say enough complimentary things about the “Salty Cape”!The listing photos and location were what drew me in initially and the reality did not disappoint! Our snowy week visit was brightened by the bright white: neutral Japandi decor! The homeowners know how to welcome visitors. There was nothing they had not thought oft that we could possibly need. "The house is lovely, great location and situation. The shore just below the house is rocky and charming, but requires caution descending to it (in the winter anyway). Sunrise over the south end of Monroe Island is just gorgeous. Views from every room. The kitchen is great, and the most generously supplied with cookware and dishes that I've ever seen in a rental. Super."

"We really enjoyed this property for our 4th visit to the Maine mid-coast area this year. It was a private and quiet setting surrounded by trees decked out in beautiful fall foliage. Easy access to Camden and many idyllic little townships. Some beautiful hiking nearby too. The house was tidy with an easy layout and good beds. We lacked nothing and were very comfortable. Host Mark was quick to respond if we had any questions. The house is multi-level so there are stairs.We will stay again...

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Cozy Cabin. I just wanted to get away for reading and accomplished my goal! I love that there isn’t a TV, but there is WiFi. The fridge is great capacity and the microwave and oven are perfect. There is a grocery store less than 15 minutes away if you’re like me and just want to stay in. Barbara and John leave a great welcome message. I’ll be staying here again when I want a quiet getaway! "
