"What a great place to stay. We stayed here after a trip around the Isle of Skye. So handy after coming back on to the main land. The hotel itself was excellent value for money. "This was an affordable option in a touristy area. The hotel is old, but the rooms have been renovated with new carpets and bathrooms. The single room was small, but I had room to open my large suitcase on the floor when I moved the chair. I had a very nice seaside view from my window. The breakfast was fantastic. I added breakfast to my booking, and they had great menu options. One morning I had the full Scottish breakfast, and the next day I had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I had supper there both nights, and the meals were good. The dining room and breakfast area both gave seaside views. I would definitely go back to the Uig Hotel. "
