Sunny 5BR w/ Saltwater Pool & 6-Seat Golf Cart Close to Beach

Tucked away on a quiet street under magnificent live oaks, this Isle of Palms gem ‘Firefly’ is a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach, marina, Wild Dunes Golf Club and other Isle of Palms attractions as well as only a 25 minute drive from historic downtown Charleston. This beautiful 2550 sq. ft. home, completely remodeled in 2013, features a total of 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, two of which are en-suite.

Through the front door you enter into a spacious living area with vaulted ceilings and light pouring in from the numerous windows and French doors. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area to create an ideal central gathering area. The kitchen features a massive marble island with gas range, prep sink, counter seating and a pantry stocked with amenities. The adjoining dining area features a large table with seating for 8. The living area also comfortably seats 8 with a 60-inch HD television with cable tv central for viewing.

The back doors of the living space open up to a saltwater pool surrounded by a large deck area completely redone and expanded in 2020 - perfect for sunbathing, barbecuing and dining al fresco. There is also direct access to the pool deck from the master suite.

A 6-seat golf cart is provided for our guests use - the most fun way to get around town! Beach towels and chairs are included as well as other basic amenities. With several restaurants, a Harris Teeter grocery store and other shops nearby, Firefly is the perfect choice for your Isle of Palms getaway!

Stellar Beach Rental
This was the best of many homes we have stayed at on the Isle of Palms. The location, easy beach access and home itself were all top shelf. My interactions with the owners were all very good and the home was well stocked for a family that likes to cook on vacation.

Beautiful home
Had a wonderful family vacation! Home is well provisioned for children. We had plenty of rainy day activities. Golf cart was perfect for short trips around town and to the beach. Everyone enjoyed the pool with lots of toys. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of coffee was provided. Small issues of one bathroom sink not being clean, one duvet cover needing a wash, and not enough paper products were overshadowed by the beautiful surrounds of the home, convenient location, fun design details etc. We loved it here and would definitely come back!

Girls getaway
It was a girls getaway and the house was perfect for that! We have some very picky women in our group and they actually only had nice things to say after our stay. I was shocked. The amenities were top notch and the location was just perfect. The house was beautiful and so clean. I would definitely stay here again as it was close to every thing.

The owners of this house are fantastic and so easy to work with! We had some issues with the A/C and they were on top of it right away. The house and pool are great and we loved having the golf cart to take to the beach. It is also well stocked with everything you need - no need to lug your chairs/beach cart from home. Highly recommend this rental!

Not sure what else I can add that has not already been said about Firefly because as others, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Communication was great and the house was spotless and very comfortable and tasteful. Great location, especially with the golf cart, which made it super easy to get to the beach. We liked being off the HWY as the house location was very quiet under the large trees. Rooms and home were tastefully decorated and the kitchen stocked. Pool was great too. Would come back for sure again.

Dream Beach House!
Beautiful, comfortable house for our family of seven. Easy check in. Responsive owners. We appreciated not having to bring beach towels, beach chairs, and being supplied with some basic spices, oil, etc. Would definitely rent this again!

Perfect vacation home
This property on isle of palms was just what we needed for my family of 5 and my in laws. The location was excellent and the amenities for my family were perfect. It’s just like the photos and the hosts were easy to work with. Easy access to the beach (especially with the golf cart), the pool was awesome, and we loved the proximity to Charleston. We even said next time we would just fly because the house was so well equipped we didn’t need everything we brought! After this trip I hope to make isle of palms a place my family vacations for years to come!

Fabulous House!
This home, and the hosts were wonderful. The house is so comfortable, very very well appointed and has absolutely everything you need for a group of any size. The spaces in the home are beautiful, as well as the appliances, fixtures, and finishes. The outdoor surroundings are beautiful and feel like you are tucked away, but you’re only two blocks from the beach. Everything in the house was in tiptop shape. We all had a great time and would love to stay at this property again.

This was a great location, very convenient to the beach and easy access on and off the island. We did have an issue with the air conditioning that was addressed promptly. As hot as it was the week we were there it did get warm in the house when we were cooking in the evenings but there’s not much that could be done to prevent that.

Lovely week at Firefly with family in IOP!
My extended family of 10 stays for a week in Isle of Palms each summer. This was our first time renting Firefly and we were very pleased with the property. It is a 10 minute walk or a quick golf cart ride to the beach. The home is decorated beautifully and well stocked with everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. The property manager was super responsive with any questions or issues we had -- which were minor. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes and landscaping. Would definitely rent Firefly again!

Gem in Isle of Palms
We just returned from a week in Isle of Palms with our three children and loved staying at Firefly. This was a special beach house from the beautiful home tastefully decorated, wonderful pool, lovely neighborhood, and close proximity to the beach. My boys enjoyed the pool each day and loved riding bikes through the neighborhood and stopping at the nearby park. The streets are nicely shaded and are also a great place for long runs. We enjoyed using the golf cart provided to make travelling the few blocks to the beach with our gear easier. The homeowners were great at communicating about the house before our arrival and were quick to answer our questions as new islanders. The pictures prosted do not truley capture this gem of a beach house with perfect location!

Absolutely Perfect
We have been coming to IOP for a number of years. We have teenagers and bring the Grandmothers with us. This house was absolutely perfect for our group. It had all the amenities you need from beach towels, beach chairs, wagons, kitchen accessories, spices, glasses, etc. It had everything! It was incredibly clean and the owners were extremely communicative and thoughtful. Any questions were answered immediately. We’ve never returned to the same house twice but that’s about to change! The golf cart and fire pit were an added bonus! It was a quick ride/walk to the beach. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to experience this beautiful home.

PERFECTION!
The pictures, description and reviews of this rental may seem too good to be true…but the reality is it is even BETTER! Our family has rented homes around the world and this surpassed some of the best places we have rented previously. It is a beautiful home with everything you need at your fingertips (so many dishes, glasses, pots/pans, coffee pot/kueriq etc) you can settle right in to your home away from home! The layout of the house and its location to the beach and activities could not have been more perfect for our family of 7 ranging from ages 21-83! The golf cart and beach wagons made the short distance to the beach even more of a breeze. The “kids” enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, and we all enjoyed the pool - esp on a day too windy for the beach. Prudence and Vincent were literally the best hosts! So responsive and welcoming. The beds and linens were so comfortable. The large dining room table inside and picnic table outside made for the best family meals together. Truly can’t say enough things about our week here other than it went too fast! We kept saying we wished we lived right here in this exact home! Thank you for the break away from reality and cherished time with family in paradise. We will be back!

Great place for a girls trip
This a great place for five long distance friends to meet up and have a relaxing weekend. The house was great for us. It’s just a few minutes from the beach and town, or 30 minutes into Charleston. It was well equipped for our five star weekend!
