The most warm & friendly hosts on all of our trip to Scotland. Every detail of the food & home is expertly & meticulously attended. Drinks, dinner & breakfast were a feast each time! Our room was actually the beautiful one pictured on website. Not sure I’ve ever had that work out! Bedding was so comfortable. Our hostess Emma even let us check in early after arriving on a morning ferry & had a fabulous tea & muffins waiting for us!

Special! A real Pleasure to stay with Graeme and Emma. Their house is beautiful, they take very great care and attention to all their guests and provide amazing food and service. Our seafood platter was enormous and spectacular and the breakfasts are delicious and plentiful including a wonderful porridge (“Graeme’s Porridge”) and locally sourced salmon, sausages, bacon, and organic eggs. We leave very happy to have stayed there ..and carrying an extra few kilos :).

Emma and Graeme are the penultimate hosts. Meals and breakfasts are beyond description. All of the rooms in the house are exquisite. This was my second time here and it only gets better. I always feel at home, part of the family when visiting (including another time with her mum Rachel). It is ideal to explore Islay or for Scotch tastings. Thanks for a great stay - too short! The owners of this gorgeously appointed hotel will make you feel completely taken care of. They kept our schedule and offered many suggestions and set us up with local services -the dinning room and the high quality breakfast was high quality appointed and yet accomplished with comfort.
