We really enjoyed this cabin, great location (close to lots of sites). Nestled in the trees. Comfortable rustic cabin feeling. Loved the upstairs shower and large bedroom.
Nice home with plenty of room for a family, beds were comfortable. Home was not clean, lots of pet hair and dust and sheets on one bed had been slept in with human and animal hair on the sheets. We were excited to kayak, but the water in the river was low and dirty and one of the kids had a leech after kayaking.
We loved the fire pit and the fox that visited. the property management company brought us out propane because the tank was empty when we got there.
We had a great time, but we were sad about the river being so low and having to drive to another area. We rented this home based on the fact that you “could” kayak from the property, so that was a big disappointment and inconvenience.
The cabin was everything we expected. Loved being close to the river. We did expect snow
But not 2 feet in a day which had me worried but they cleared the roads quickly as soon as the storm passed. Great family time!
Beautiful cabin, short walking distance to the lake, down the path on the property. All the rooms were so nice and plenty of space. Would stay here again!
Fantastic location on the river. Lots more room than the pictures or descriptions convey. Very clean and well kept.
We really enjoyed being so close to the river - literally walk out the back porch and walk ~200ft to the river bank. We brought our paddle boards and rented kayaks so we were able to launch ourselves right from the shore to play and fish.
We had to request some box fans because the cabin was really stuffy and hot when we arrived (no A/C) but property managers got those to us promptly. You don’t really need A/C if you keep windows open open at night and use the fans. Cabin stays nice and cool.
You will need to bring all your own toiletries. Several VRBO properties provide items like a hotel - shampoo and bar soap. Not a big deal, but thought I’d share.
Highly recommend this place.
Our family (5 adults and 2 kids) had a great time in Island Park and Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons. We even got to see the neighborhood moose and deer! Thank you for sharing your home! It was a great place to relax and wind down.
The property was very nice and the staff was very helpful. We were two couples traveling together. It was a convenient location to use as a base to visit Yellowstone.
Kitchen could be better stocked with cookie sheet, I asked if there was a cheese grater was told yes but there was not. I donated one. Dishes are cracked, and the pans are ok. We cook a lot so we need stuff for a Kitchen. Otherwise beautiful area and very clean.
We stayed here while visiting Yellowstone. The cabin/home was great! Very quiet and remote. We even saw a moose out back leisurely eating. The home was well appointed and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank-you!

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, dishes and spices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again. The elk and deer mounts were very impressive! The house is beautiful throughout. The master bedroom is gigantic. My only suggestions for improvement is to provide more towels and washcloths for the guests and recommend replacing the gas grill.
We loved the property a lot but the only thing I would have wished for was Air Conditioning and WiFi at the Cabin. The evening were a little hot in the cabin so we would have to open windows and doors to cool it off at night so we could sleep and the cellphone service in town and at the cabin was pretty bad so it would have been nice to at least have WiFi at the cabin so we could look up more things in the area. Other than that we loved our stay at this cabin!
