The good
1. Fully remodeled omission of dish washer, no towel bars in bathroom , minimal counter space
2. King bed super comfortable
3. Ocean access if you have a boat on canal
4. Nice gas grill. Don't grill under overhang
The bad ( in no particular order)
1.one piece of upholstered furniture ok for lounging
2. Two small outdoor wood chairs very uncomfortable, four hard backless stools, equally uncomfortable
3. Bedroom window 60 - 70 feet from Overseas Highway extremely loud 24/7 (needs window treatment to deaden constant noise)
4. Pantry closet, cabinets, and drawers contained owner's belongings (needed to consolidate to make space for owner own stuff)
5. Only 1/2 access to garage for bicycle and kayak storage (owner belongings on shelves)
6. Owner should create contact list for local services, property manger, cable tv, etc.
7. Three sets of television remote controls (very confusing when cable tv was out, occurred five times.)
8. Pool rules not enforced. Smoking, dogs, glass bottles, etc.
The ugly
1. There is no ocean view at this unit unless you are on the roof
Yes you can see the canal
2. Possible code violations (in no particular order)
A.no cover on light switch in closet
B. Smoke / carbon monoxide detectors not functional
C. No Ground Fault outlet on kitchen counter
D. Outlet over "Murphy" bed overloaded
E. No access to unit electrical breaker cabinet (in case of emergency)
F. Condo association placed fire extinguishers are all out of date (need inspection/ certification)
3. The communal laundry room is the pits. Chronically dirty. Folding table, floors gross.
