"I brought three friends from the US for a hut to hut trip in the Dents du Midi and this was our starting point, The Auberge du Grand Paradis had recently been taken over by Kelly and her husband and they are doing a phenomenal job bringing this property back : the facilities are newly renovated and quaint, a typical Swiss chalet with the wonderful smell of wood all around, super clean, in the typical Swiss fashion. "What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"
