We only saw him during his afternoon shift when we would come back to the hotel and he would be all cheery and ask how was your day, did you guys enjoy it. "Staff at desk were abrupt, unhelpful. Breakfast was terrible - badly displayed buffet, cheap yoghurt in a large bowl, poor coffee, stale cereal but eggs and bacon were ok. Renovated room so badly designed: wasted space, desk that had to slide under shelf, strange piece with mirror etc (purpose?). The brown and black theme was depressing. Holiday Inn: do better!!!!"
