"Beautiful hotel. Eco Friendly, Swimming pool, spa and steam room for guests. I also had a massage which was well priced and a decent massage. Restaurant on premise is very nice . Only a short walk to the sites and short uphill stroll back but everything with in 20 mins walk and so peaceful and relaxing. Right next to the Roman ruins. Great part of town . 8 min walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. 30 mins down to river. I would stay here again. Great spot"

"We had a lovely experience at La Phenix Hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spectacular with a view of the Rhone and a fireplace. It was in a fabulous location in the old part of the city. I would definitely stay here again next visit to Lyon."
