"We rented this property thinking that we were renting the whole house as advertised. It turns out that that this house is a hostel as per the sign out front and we were given one room. After some discussion with the owner we were given three rooms. The owner had not been paid by VRBO and I had paid VRBO one month ahead of time. "We stayed here for two nights before joining an escorted tour. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was most refreshing. As a bonus there was an excellent restaurant just over the road. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Kapuru! The staff are really friendly and helpful, they even did some washing for us during our quick stay! So many cats and dogs around the property which were happy and friendly. Very close walk to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Wi-Fi reception wasn’t the greatest and the aircon in our room was very noisy at times but didn’t really affect our stay too much and we would definitely recommend if staying in Negombo! "
