Great Location. No Service.
Shown to a Room when Booked Apartment. Finally Shown to apartment. Great Locale but not been cleaned & Beds not made up. They made beds but didn't clean .. Shocked crockery & cutlery not clean. Wore shoes as floor so dirty... 2 star & didn't have an electric kettle or anything to boil water in. Waited for included Breakfast.. No-one came.. I finally asked & was offered bread & jam. There is no reception... Shame as place is big with great Balcony & Views of Beach. It is not 2 Star. Such a shame...

Best beach on Ios.
For a very relaxing time on a beautiful beach, you couldn't ask for more. As for the accommodation, it's rustic, and you are left on your own, but good value when you consid the low cost. It is about 28 km from the port, but worth the extra distance if you're wanting to get away from the crowds.

Kan inte bli bättre om man söker lugnet.
Allt över förväntan. Mat och dryck perfekt. En sak som uppskattades var att vi åt och drack och se. Betalade vid avresa. Slapp vara kontanta ideligen. Stranden är super. iOS bästa. Kommer igen nästa sommar kanske tidigare. På mangansri finns inte mycket att göra bara slappa och njuta.

Vi fann paradiset /We found paradise
Längst ner på ön Ios södra strand ligger detta smultronställe. Den sympatiske ägaren Adonis hälsade oss välkommna när vi kom. Väl på plats noterade vi att det enda som fanns var 2 resturanger och en lååång sandstrand, perfekt för en sönderstressad och frusen/blöt nordbo. Mamma Helena stod i köket och lagade fantastisk mat till bra priser dessutom. När vi kom hade sista bussen gått (13:00) men Adonis fixade så att vi fick en extratur. Hjälp med skjuts tillbaka till båten fick vi också. En kväll klafsade en grodman in på restaurangen med ett knippe fiskar, det var Adonis som varit ute på fisketur, makalöst gott. Hit kommer vi tillbaka.At the bottom of the island of Ios south shoreyou found this hideaway. The sympathetic owner Adonis greeted us welcome when we arrived. Once in place, we noticed that the only thing available was 2 restaurants and a loooong sandy beach, perfect for a break under stress and cold / wet Northerner. Mother Helen was in the kitchen and cooked great food at good prices too. When we arrived the last bus had gone (13:00) but Adonis fixed so that we had an extra tour. Help with a ride back to the boat, we had too. One night squelched a frogman in the restaurant with a bunch of fish, it was Adonis who have been out on a fishing trip, incredibly good. We will return.
