"Important! do not follow google maps directions to this property. It had me follow a dirt road at night and almost got stuck in a sandy riverbed in the middle of nowhere. the property it actually on the main road. Call it you cannot find it but do not follow any unpaved roads. Once I got there it was an interesting and worthwhile experience. You will see lots of stars. Heather is great and super helpful."

"My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. "Our family rented this home on a functioning horse property as an alternative to camping in the Jawbone Canyon/Dove Springs off road riding area over thanksgiving week. It is just a 20 minute drive to the gate for day trips. We weren’t looking for glamorous accommodations but a place that could hold 3 families and had trailer parking for the off road vehicles and this worked perfectly. Owner is easy to work with and responsive . Would definitely return! "
