Riverside Flat

A stone's throw across the River Ness from Inverness Station and the Victorian Market. This two-bedroom flat in a 19th-century townhouse is fitted with all the modern 21st-century conveniences and necessities needed for a comfortable stay.

Located on the top floor with low ceilings that make it feel cossetting and cottage-like; the living space is perfect to relax, unwind and catch up on your favourite shows on the TV. The fully-equipped kitchen has all the utensils and crockery needed for light cooking with a fridge, electric hob and oven. And a small dining table that can comfortably accommodate four with ease, and can be used as an improvised workspace for digital nomads.

Both bedrooms are cosy and fitted with double beds lined in hotel-quality linens for a good night's rest. The shared bathroom has all the basics with shower, toilet and sink; fresh towels and toiletries are provided at no extra cost.

Cleaning and sanitisation will be done before your anticipated arrival.

Guests will have access to the entire home!

We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own.

Inverness is a city on Scotland’s northeast coast, where the River Ness meets the Moray Firth. It's the largest city and the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. Its Old Town features 19th-century Inverness Cathedral, the mostly 18th-century Old High Church and an indoor Victorian Market selling food, clothing and crafts. The contemporary Inverness Museum and Art Gallery traces local and Highland history.

Most of Inverness City can be easily travelled by foot. A Tesco Superstore is just 2 minutes down King Street. Inverness (Train Station) and Victoria are a 5-minute walk across the River Ness.

This is a self-check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in anytime of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time.

Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :)

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 GBP smoking fee, at minimum.

We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).

Great location to walk to all the sites. Two blocks from grocery store. Kitchen was equipped and new dishes and cutlery. Lots of hand towels and bath towels. No Microwave and it would have been nice to have. Good light and roomy. The dining table was a bonus. The bathroom smelt septic and the floor was soft in places like the support boards needed replacing. Thankfully the bathroom door kept the smell from transmitting throughout the place. The shower controls were not functioning properly and it was hard to turn in and increase the hot water. Beds were comfy and lots of pillows. TV had multiple apps Like Netflix BBC Prime, to watch various programs. No washer.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Mediocre
Pros: great location Cons: everything else. Toilet leaked, flat not cleaned properly (dirty towels left behind). Really lacking in comforts. No extra blankets provided, one hand towel for three guests, bath towels very thin, no kitchen roll, the box of tissues was stuffed with takeaway napkins instead of tissues, yikes. Also had to ask for check in and check out instructions. Lesson learned, inexpensive does not mean good value for money. Nice location though.

Central location, max 2 people
Central location near train, bus, shops - very convenient. Self check in worked well. Cosy living room. Smallest bathroom I have seen, to step out of the shower we needed to open the bathroom door. No space for towels or tooth brush etc. 2nd bedroom is like an enclosed room as it was not possible to open the blind of the skylight or open the skylight at all. This flat is better for 2 people instead of 4. Well equipped kitchen, the mugs in the cupboard would need a dishwasher. Toiletries not available.
