Welcome at The Green House !!

If you have never been in Inverness or Point Reyes National Seashore you should to try at least once and you will be back more often then you think. There is something special in the air what makes people happy and relax here.
Come and explore the Lighthouse, Drakes Beach , Limantour Beach , Chimney Rock, Bear Valley visitor Center , see the elks and elephant seals or have some great coffee with morning pastry at Bovine bakery and local cheeses...

The Green House have been in family for over 100 years.
Very private .
Suit is attached to the main house with separate entrance.
We live on the second floor of the house.
This is the perfect spot for anytime during the year, weekends , holidays
We are located near downtown Inverness, Saltwater and Vladimir's restaurants, beaches, kayaking and walking trails.
This is perfect spot for a singles, couples or family with kids.
The Green House offer a romantic bedroom with queen size bed, large sunroom with queen size bed and I can add an extra cot for additional guest , plenty of books and games
There is small kitchenette area with fridge, hot plate, microwave , electric taster-oven and grill , coffee maker , tea kettle and all kitchen supplies like pots ,dishes, silverware, small table and too seats.
Bathroom with sink and separate marble shower .
Garden patio with grill and fire pit. Please bring some charcoal if you wish to use it.
For heating we use electric space heaters.
We love animals here, dogs OK- $50 pet fee per dog, $75 for two .Please make a payment before arrival. Thank you
More then two people - $25 extra guest.
Access to internet and Direct Tv.
Single nights OK!
Complimentary we offer fresh eggs from our chickens, chocolate, butter, coffee ,tea and we wash the dishes for you!

Inverness is a mesmerizing wooded bend in the road. This cottage is peaceful and cozy with a lovely selection of literature designed to enhance your stay.

Charming, peaceful getaway spot
There were several thoughtful hostess touches, like chocolates by the bed, and fresh eggs from their roosters in the fridge! A very nice place for two people to have a quiet weekend in a charming corner of our state.

Our annual vacation
My daughter and I have stayed at this property 4 times. The host Eva does everything she can to make our stay as comfortable as she can..it is always clean and welcoming. We will be going again next year

EZ Access to all of the Pt. Reyes Peninsula.
Easy prompt communication with the hostess, before and during our stay. Location was perfect. The resident chickens supplied us with as many eggs as we needed!

2 friends on a food tour!
We needed a place for one night that was affordable and cosy. This little spot came through and our host was wonderful in helping us set up the sofa bed and helping us heat up the rooms to beat back the Inverness winter chill! Eggs and amenities were adorable.

Super cute spot. It has a lot of character! Ran into the owners a couple times around the property and they were friendly. Not nosy or hovering, but available if needed, the perfect balance. If you are a minimalist/neat freak type this might not be a good fit. If you love a bit of quirkiness and don't mind a touch of roughing it/ranchiness, it's perfect! I would gladly stay again.

A sweet landing space in a charming pocket of Inverness
My mom and I booked with Ewa and we were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. We had a quiet and visually peaceful place to sleep at night with how sparsely populated this area is. Ewa was welcoming and prompt with responses to questions. The area is full of beautiful trails and beaches nearby and it's easy to access the main roads in Point Reyes from this VRBO (it was one of the main reasons we booked this location.) Jist around the corner, be sure to also try the Michelin-awarded restaurant, Saltwater, for some world class oysters.

My boys and I really enjoyed this little place. There is everything you need down to kitchen essentials and fresh eggs. The back patio is so cute, and we had enough space to do our distance learning in separate rooms.

Ewa was quick to respond, hospital, and the place is exactly as described. We even enjoyed fresh eggs 2 mornings provide by our hosts. It was fabulous taste of a slower pace & small community. Plus a fabulous market with great sandwiches is right up the road! Gracious people

Enjoyed The Green House
The Green House worked out great for our coastal trip. Hosts were pleasant and helpful, a quiet convenient location, comfortable beds, a cool sunroom, lots of books and games, a patio with furniture and a fire pit. Fresh eggs from the hosts' chickens and chocolates a nice touch. The Green House is a tight (narrow) accommodation. Fine for the two of us and our dog. More than two people would be tight. Struggled to maintain Wi-Fi but a non issue for us since had fair cell service and wasn't there to stare at screens.

Peaceful stay
The greenhouse is nestled in a small, but spacious neighborhood within walking distance to Tomales Bay. The owners were so thoughtful throughout our entire stay. They left the light on since we did not arrive until late and gave us farm fresh eggs. The rental is attached to their main home, but the space you have to stay in is separated and private. They have so many books and games. The thing that impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the place. Not one speck of dust and every towel, blanket and sheet were so fresh smelling. I appreciate all the attention to detail and hope to stay again there soon!

Simply put, a wonderful property with wonderful hosts. This spot is unique, clean, fresh and updated in a super cool OLD house. The quaintness of the large chicken coop off to the side greets you when you come. Watch out for GPS. It sent us too far up the road and to the left. It’s more like halfway up the road on the right. Don’t miss this cute spot. One of the best things about it is how quiet it was.

Relaxing stay in quaint green house
We loved our stay in the green house! It was very quiet, peaceful, and a well accommodated space. A perfect location for visiting friends in Inverness and exploring all the outdoor beauty of Pt Reyes and Tomales Bay. I did find the listing to be somewhat misleading in that it says there are two queen beds and sleeps four people. The fold out/sofa bed is definitely not queen sized and is not very comfortable on its own. There are lots of comfy blankets and pillows around the unit so it wasn’t impossible to make the pull out comfortable enough for one person to sleep on, but given the small size I think it would be very challenging for two people to sleep on it together. Just something to think about if you are truly looking for a place with two separate beds (like we were) or for 4 people.

I loved everything about my accommodations here. The beds are comfortable, the sun room makes you want to linger over morning coffee, and the hosts are friendly and on-site without being intrusive. In particular, the boho sunroom is so inviting with the sunlight streaming in, and leaving a window open in the evening allows refreshingly cool night air to lull you to sleep. This rental is centrally-located: under 5 minutes from town; about an hourish from San Francisco; 15 minutes from Point Reyes National Seashore; and 40 minutes from Muir Woods. Moreover, the gorgeous Tomales Bay is within walking distance. My brief stay here was part of a much longer roadtrip, and I can truly say that this unit was perfect for my needs. Thank you for making this 1925 gem available!

Wonderful experience
We stayed here for two nights. The place is very small, but limited space is organized extremely well. You have everything you need in the kitchenette, in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Everything is clean and very well appointed. The hosts have some chickens, so we got fresh eggs every breakfast. Also the hosts were so nice to welcome us with chocolate (how did they know it's my favorite!) and cream for coffee. The house is away from tourist crowds in Point Reyes Station, but still very close to everything Point Reyes national Shore could offer. We had very good time in a Green House. Would recommend it to everyone.

Out in the Country but Convenient to Beaches and Stores
This unit feels like you are out in the country, but you are still close to stores and restaurants in Pt. Reyes. The location is especially convenient to parks and beaches on the Inverness side of Pt. Reyes. The hosts were quite friendly and even left fresh farm eggs from their chickens. The unit also has good off-street parking and, overall, is a real value. The only thing to look for is the Glen Way sign; it is difficult to spot as it has some vines partly covering it.

Paradise in Inverness!
Cute and cozy, with a warm and quaint vibe. The bed is really comfortable and has a generous amount of bedding. There are extra towels and pillows. There are many books and some games. The kitchen area has a microwave and a fridge, but no kitchen sink. The bathroom has a great shower, just be careful with the shower curtain. The water tends to drip on to the floor from the shelf at the back of the bath tub. Infact put a towel there be for you begin! Also the chickens are quiet next door and no there isn't a rooster! Say hi to the gentleman feeding the chickens!

Difficult to find; inadequate directions. The bed was comfortable, the place clean but: the overpowering smell of disinfectant was nauseating; could not open windows, too cold. Space heaters only. Sink in bathroom only so no washing dishes. Host did not collect nor clean my dishes. Coffee pot had no filter basket. Trying to look Bohemian but it's more a Goodwill vibe, sadly. Do not recommend.
