Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Cot and high chair available on request. Telephone - incoming calls only. Patio area with garden seat. 20-acres of moorland. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: This property has a private water supply.. A bright, renovated highland cottage, peacefully situated in the hills, high above Drumnadrochit, only 3½ miles away. Beautifully secluded, with a lively burn bubbling past. Reached by 1½ miles of fairly steep tarred road then ¾ of a mile of track through a birch wood. Fishing permits can be obtained locally. A perfect holiday retreat. Glen Affric and the west coast are well worth a visit, with Inverness only half an hour away. Shop and pub 3½ miles.

There are low banisters at the property.

We were so delighted to snap up a cancellation and have a lovely holiday and Dalreach. The location was absolutely stunning. You’re far enough away to feel like you have your own piece of Scotland, yet the town on Drumnadrochit is only 5 minutes away in the car. And for being so remote, the phone signal and 4G was still ample. It was very clean throughout, and the fireplace made the evenings nice and cosy. The beds were all clean and very comfortable. Wow, what an amazing place for a holiday. A beautiful property in an amazing location, perfect for a family holiday. My children loved playing in the burn and we were lucky with the weather so spent a couple of days just relaxing in the garden. The owner David is very friendly and approachable also. Lovely property, has everything you need and more.
Lovely property, has everything you need and more. The most important is the peace and tranquility you feel staying here. From the wonderful summer house to sit in all weathers, to the quick walk up the hill behind the house to access endless heather hills, also the small burn running past the garden its one of the most relaxing places we' ve ever stayed. Thankyou to the owner....magical!

This is an extremely comfortable cottage with everything you need which takes peace & quiet and isol
This is an extremely comfortable cottage with everything you need which takes peace & quiet and isolation to another level, perfect for letting your stress levels drift away whilst curled up in front of a real log fire. 10 minutes from town with great restaurants and a large supermarket if you need it, and a million miles away from civilization if you don't. great central location from which to explore as well, we will definitely be back. Our only regret we only went for one week not two.
