"Pictures do not do this stay justice. This is a converted farmhouse so the stay itself is a no frills type of place. If you are looking for 5 star hotel quality amenities this isn’t for you. But if you are looking for a wonderful Scottish experience that includes a drive through quaint villages, beautiful farmland, amazing cliffside views, and friendly hospitality then this place certainly will not disappoint. Our family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here. Tim did a great job of making us feel right at home, provided local knowledge and resources, and even came by to help us out when we asked him a question. "

"Loved this guest house as so quiet and tranquil. The views are fabulous and the walks from the house beautiful. A hearty breakfast every day freshly cooked all locally sourced. The house is very clean and so welcoming, you feel at home straight away. I would recommend to anyone and shall be staying again."

"The property in Rosemarkie was very nice. It is remote, quiet, and very peaceful. The views were tremendous! We had difficulty finding the property, but thanks to some very kind locals we found our way. "

"Something very different for two oldies to experience. We were in the smallest accommodation, I assume, and the problem would have been in making up the bed had we not been pretty fit. Very compact, comfortable and a nice breakfast, on request, brought to the cabin by friendly people."

"Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. "
