"I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. "Alison and Mark, owners/hosts are amazing. Nothing was too much for them. I don't drive. Both offered to drive to the village to the shops if I needed anything. Their beautiful cottage had everything you need. An added bonus was a log burner, coal also provided. Bottle of prossecco as a welcome gift. Lovely surprise. "Accommodation was the perfect balance of cosy and modern. It was immaculately presented and very well equipped. We received a warm welcome on our arrival, including a gift of homemade shortbread and some locally made whisky. Tilly, the dog, dropped in to hello too and visited us daily and was absolutely no trouble at all. The accommodation is in an ideal location which made days away very easy and accessible. I would definitely wish to stay again and would highly recommend this holiday home."

Only complaint was the poor shower pressure, which is essential for long hair, and slightly temperamental water temperature. We would happily return."
