"My friends and I loved (not like but LOVE) our stay in Gasthoff Schoenegg. We were very cautious at first regarding this booking because we were not sure if it's legit. However, it was very very very legit. The rooms were smaller than US hotels and B&B but i think this is the norm here in switzerland, so it's okay. "The hotel and general area was very peaceful. The hospitality was great, and the staff made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is amazing, being close to both the mountains and the lake. It was also very convenient to drive to beautiful cities, such as Bern, Thun, the local Brienz, and Grindelwald is also not too far. Certainly has a more cottage vibe, but it adds to the experience. Would 10/10 recommend for an authentic Swiss experience."
