"At first there was a little confusion, as my stepdaughter couldn't find the loft until I arrived. Once that was located it was all good. My mother in law had to use the sofa bed as the stairs were too steep for her, so I would not recommend this accommodation for anyone with mobility issues as the stairs to the bathroom were also an issue. "When we arrived, 3 trashcans at the front door were full to the brim that they couldn't stay shut. So, it was a pretty stinky arrival welcome. Called to let property owner know but the answering service said they will have someone from management will call us. But no one ever did. "We had a lovely couple of days in this character filled property with incredible views. There was everything you could want in the kitchen (and more). The lounge area was comfy and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck for lunch. The master bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved Clareville. Such a picturesque area and the waterfront is practically on the doorstep. The boys also enjoyed the waves at Avalon beach which is only a few minutes drive away. I would highly recommend the Sundeck Cottage...

"Contrary to the Stayz entry there is no off-street parking, however parking on the street was reasonably easy (apart from Saturday night & market day). The apartment was very clean and provided a great space for a family."

Huge back yard with Pool and entertaining area

"We had a great time staying as an extended family to celebrate a special birthday. The property manager, Col was fabulous and met us at the marina and spent time with us to show us around the property and explain how everything works- he’s a real gem! We had a great lunch at Peats Bite restaurant and their boat picked us up right out front of the property. Our kids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock and everyone enjoyed the spa. It was a lovely stay. "

"The property was well equipped, clean and had a great location. William was a fantastic communicator and was very welcoming. In walking distance to the beach, cafes and shops. Private parking was a huge bonus done as we had hired a car. The listing did tick the box for a hot tub but we are not sure if there was one for visitor use. Other than that we would highly recommend this property. "

"Staying at Careel Bay for 2 nights was a Christmas present for my son and family who were visiting me from the US. They thought it was wonderful, perfect for a small family, fabulously located for exploring and, most of all, for relaxing at the end of the day in the pool staring at the view. Simon was extremely helpful and the process went without a hitch. Heartedly recommend."

"We loved how easily accessible to Sydney attractions from the hotel by Uber and public transport (ferry) was only a short stroll away. The precinct is beautiful and equipped with family friendly facilities around the hotel if tourist attractions are not for you! Will definitely come back again! "
