"My family very much enjoyed this rental. We searched all of Ireland and parts of England and looked at basically every rental that met our criteria. The house is off a main road that has neighbors, but it is very private and none of the neighbors are near by. The house is well designed for two couples or a family of 4-5, and without much clutter. "Location of property was perfect, right in the town centre. It was large enough for 5 adults and 6 kids. Layout is slightly awkward in terms of kitchen at one end of the apartment and living room at opposite end. Besides that point, we loved it! "

"The house is nice with an amazing view. Had all we needed for a great stay. Waking up to the beautiful lake and mountain views was great. My kids also loved the place, there are sheep right next to the property and all the way up the mountain, the loved calling to the sheep. The owner is really nice and also close by if there are any problems (we had no problems). I’d definitely recommend this place."

"Amazing time in Connemara! Liam is a great host and the property was wonderful. We enjoyed the visits from Doug the dog. So peaceful it was hard to leave for the daily adventures. But we needed to take advantage of all the area has to offer. So many things within a 15 minute drive. I would love to visit Connemara again in the future."

"The property is well maintained and very comfortable. A good location, short walk into Clifden where there are bars with good entertainment and shops. We toured all of the Connemara National Park which is stunning. Galway and Westport both accessible by car or bus. A good holiday restful but not idle! I would definitely recommend a visit here."

"The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. "The house was really clean and felt very big. We enjoyed using th peat fire and Aedan was always on hand to help us out if needed. The price is fantastic for such a big house, in a great location with amazing views!"

"The property is in a beautiful location with magnificent views. It did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The living room was cosy. Some things you might expect were not in the property such as some basic kitchen equipment and a hairdryer - so we had to purchase these. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. "

"We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely."

"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"Every part of our stay was magical. We arrived late but a beautiful note with the key was left at the front desk!! Had a wonderful time at the pub and Brian greeted us the next morning at breakfast with 'where were you guys we missed you'!! Would recommend everyone to stay here when visiting the area. "

"If stunning views, trail walking and a peaceful paradise are what you are looking for this it. Excellent place to breathe deep and decompress while still visiting whatever sites you may want too. We lacked for nothing during our stay, extremely well equipped and Eileen provided great details to make our stay even better than expected. "

"I felt so warmly received by everyone. It was a beautiful historic place and I’m happy that I made the drive. What a lovely time. My particularly liked the musicians in the bar. The manager showed us our parking spot directly by walking in front of our car was very sweet. It was a nice wonderful place."
