"Lovely property. Very modern and comfortable. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Handy for everything. Literally the main street is 4 mins walk. Host is a lovely woman and very helpful. My only word of caution is that there is no wi fi. This did not bother me at all but my 3 kids were very frustrated especially if it's a wet day. So overall a top property but if your kids are of the age were wi fi is important be warned. (Or just don't bring them!)"

"Nestled into the rocks on the edge of the Atlantic, Doleen Quay House is an absolute treasure. The home and the furnishings are gorgeous, drawing inspiration from the ocean and the shoreline. The layout of the house was well suited for our family group of six adults, with four suites situated in the outer wings, connected by sunrooms to the main living space. "This house had everything you could want, plus a view to die for. We were lucky enough to have sunshine for most of our visit so could sit out and enjoy the 270 degree view of the ocean and farm fields below. The house had all the emenities you could want, and Debbie was a joy to chat with. We certainly did not want to leave when our week was up! "

"This was the best place we stayed in Ireland. Equipped to a high standard. It is a great base for exploring the Connemara region and avoiding the hustle and bustle of Galway City. Clifden has all the amenities needed and lots of restaurants. The owner has Guys Bar which is one of the most pleasant pubs we have visited with outstanding food. We ate there three times. "
