The 3rd floor unit was very clean and kept up. No issues with the unit at all. The building was clean and quiet. Originally, communication with the VRBO property manager was great. The first day we checked in, I noticed the key fob was broken but it still worked fine for the access to the building and elevator, never thought much about it. The problem started the afternoon after we checked out, when I got a message from the VRBO property manager stating we lost the key fob and then once it was found, we broke it and didn’t tell her. None of this was true of course, but we were immediately charged a $100 fee for the “broken” key fob. The fee was dropped 2 days later, but the communication definitely turned negative from the VRBO property manager.
The unit is great and clean, property manager not so great. You might want to treat this property like a rental car and document everything little thing including the key fob so you don’t get charged for someone else’s fault.
