Nice place but not the one we reserved
Reserved a stay close to where we would be spending our time, but we were double booked and relocated to a different place further from where we were going to be spending our time. Prior to arriving I had shortened our stay, which I didn’t receive confirmation within the 48 hours, I also didn’t receive any details regarding our stay which stated we should receive 3 days prior to check-in. This was concerning but I was patient. The day before the stay I messaged the host through the VRBO app but didn’t receive a response, I then attempted to contact the host directly on their cell phone the morning we were to be arriving but didn’t receive a response. I spent the morning contacting VRBO Support to figure out the next steps, but they couldn’t do anything until 1 hour before check-in time. This required me to delay leaving my current location until I knew I had a place to stay. There was a large event during our stay and there were no available places in the Indianapolis area. This caused me to arrive late in the evening. The host finally responded shortly before our check-in time and informed me we were in a different place farther from where we had reserved. I still haven't been reimbursed for the booking change or the double booking issue. I would be hesitant to use this host’s places if staying in the Indianapolis area.
