I recently stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Indianapolis for two nights. Overall, the establishment was clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, there were a few aspects of my stay that left me disappointed.
The most significant issue was the pull-out bed in our room. The mattress was extremely thin, with springs that were painfully noticeable, making for a very uncomfortable sleep experience. This was particularly frustrating given that we stayed for two nights and had hoped for better rest.
Additionally, I found the price I paid for breakfast to be unjustifiable. The buffet-style breakfast offered was mediocre at best, and the quality of the food did not match the expense.
While I would recommend this hotel if you can secure a room with double beds, be aware that they were overbooked with sports travel teams during my stay. The hotel could benefit from upgrading their pull-out sofas, improving room decor and lighting, and including an alarm clock in the rooms. Furthermore, sourcing higher-quality breakfast items would greatly enhance the overall experience.
