When I came in, I found the parking to be slightly challenging due to the narrow driveways and ended up having to park by the dumpster on my first night. There is very little parking at the front of the building. Once I got in, I ended up going to the back office as the hotel is being remodeled. Check-in was quick and the receptionist was friendly. I went upstairs to a spotless, comfortable and inviting room. Everything in the bathroom was laid out and ready to use, but it took me a minute to find the bath towels that were on shelf in the right side of the vanity. You will not see them walking into the bathroom. Inside the room itself the temperature was neither too hot or too cold. The bed was comfortable and slept good. I was able to get a wake up call and went down for breakfast. There were no menus present until I was handed one by one of the staff after I had served myself from the buffet. The food was bland, almost tasteless and I ended up paying over $14 for it. A placard indicating what the prices were would’ve been very helpful. Probably chalk it up to the extensive remodeling being done. At the end of my stay, I checked out in about 6:30 in the morning to little fanfare; no asking how my stay was for instance. Most of my travel is business, and I stay at Hilton‘s frequently. Again, I’m talking this up more to the remodeling and will probably stay here again, when the opportunity presents itself.
