Overall good stay, but not accurate listing
Overall, this place was nice, in a good location for all of our needs, clean, etc. below are pros/cons of our stay. Pros: There’s a skywalk we were able to use to get to the convention center/mall/lucas oil Clean place Full kitchen and washer/dryer Free parking while you stay Cons: The listing says one bedroom has 2 queen beds- there is only one. It’s listed as “sleeps 10” and with our group of 8, one person had to sleep on the couch And we had 3 girls sleeping in the one queen bed. There was no room for 2 more people. We didn’t receive check in or check out instructions from the host until I sent a message asking for them. The check in process was a bit of a pain because things weren’t communicated in advance (such as where the parking was located, how to get in the building, etc) Upon checking out, our group cleaned, did dishes took out trash, etc because I won’t leave a place dirty but none of this was communicated by the host. We weren’t sure what to do with towels, bed linens, etc. Overall, if you’re traveling with 7 or less people, this is a great option to stay and we would come stay again in the future.

Excellent location. Really unique renovated department store condo
The best part of our stay was the location. We were there for sports and needed to get the to the convention center in freezing temperatures. This condo is connected to the mall which connects to the convention center via the skywalk which was super convenient for us. The condo itself was very unique and had a lot of history to it, being a renovated department store. I definitely want to come again in the warmer weather when I can enjoy the city more and watch less of volleyball during the day. Another great thing about this rental was how responsive the host was. That is something that is really important to me when I rent from other people. I really appreciate how quickly I got a phone call when I needed it and how quick the responses were through the app.

Great place, if you know it.
This is a beautiful two bedroom condo in a very cool historic building. It's walking distance to lots of cool stuff in downtown Indy. Pros: The unit is clean, and updated well. The building is very cool, if you like architecture you'll love it. Everything in the unit worked well, kitchen, baths, etc. Cons:The host is very unresponsive. From the time that I arrived at the address, to the time that I actually had access to the unit, was almost 2 hours. After I let the host know I was in the unit, they did not respond to any other messages. Including me asking for the Wi-Fi password, and how to access the skywalk, two things that were stated as features of the rental. The listing clearly states there is a bedroom with two queen beds, that is not the case. It states it sleeps 10, if you include the pull out daybed in the dining room it sleeps 6. This was not an issue for us, we only had 5. As I said overall this is a beautiful place to stay. If the host would be more forthcoming with access information, and fix the inaccuracies of the listing, it would make the experience significantly better.

Unsafe Stay
Our VRBO host canceled the last night of our stay less than one month before our trip and we had to scramble to find a place to stay for our conference. She said she refunded us the night plus only $50 for the inconvenience. This refund took multiple phone calls and messages to make official - the total for our stay for weeks showed the same amount we originally paid, increasing each night by over 30%. VRBO had a hard time getting ahold of the host to adjust this despite seeing all our messages via VRBO. They needed more confirmation from the host instead of refunding the amount to us and then working it out with the host. When we got there, there were additional issues on top of only one key in the lockbox for 4 people. The host did not provide the checkin instructions in advance and gave very little information, requiring the first person who got there to write more detailed instructions for the rest of us. There was no map or guide of the building or apartment provided, so we had to ask about wifi and gym access. One of our party was surprised by two "building inspectors" who came in using the key in the lockbox which we had to leave in there since there were 4 of us coming and going. They claimed they were inspecting the property and our host said she would tell us - she later apologized and said it was supposed to happen before we checked in. I asked her for another key and she told me one was taped to the bottom of the front door! Because there was no buffer under the f
