"Hotel is nice, clean and in very good location. Just one thing you have to consider, hotel is located on the hill. It was hard for us for get there during our stay...I would advise you to check street view in Google map for this hotel."

"The property is an easy drive from Florence , located in beautiful surroundings with the rolling hills of Tuscany all around. We were able to explore Siena & multiple small centuries old towns. A car is a must here to go anywhere including Impruneta.The lodging is ample size for a family of 4 or 5. Loved that Mattia has a washer available for laundry. Mattia was a great host , made wonderful suggestions on places to go & was super easy to work with. Would recommend. Teri W from KY USA"

"It was a perfect home base for my husband and I for daytripping around Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, and a welcome break from staying at a hotel. The town is close to the property, and an easy stop for breakfast and coffee on our way to other destinations. Unfortunately it was raining most of the days we were there, so we did not get to enjoy the exterior as we had hoped.Note to others: the street to the farmhouse is not paved and there are many potholes, so drive slowly and carefully!"

"The house is picture perfect - and the views are absolutely stunning. As others have said, to get to it, you need to drive down a bit of bumpy dirt road (so having a SUV would be a wise choice), but once you get there l, the pure serenity and peacefulness of the Tuscan hills await you. It was so relaxing and quiet and really felt like you had it all to yourself. The house itself was great - 4 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms (especially for European standards) provided plenty of space to...

"The apartment is at the heart of the small village, central to several great restaurants and practically across the street from the incredible 11th century abbey. The place was very clean and has been recently renovated, but still had a very historic feel to it. Emanuel, our host, was very friendly and gracious. He offered several personal recommendations to restaurants and a wine tasting at a nearby castle, all of which were great! Would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved this property- very well equipped, lovely pool and great views. And, only a few minutes walk into the village with lovely bars restaurants and shops. A perfect location. The only thing that might cause an issue for some ( not for us) , is that the third bedroom is a mezzanine floor within the second bedroom with a very steep staircase. The only access to the bathroom from these rooms is either through the main bedroom or through the patio door and around the outside of the property. ...

"The primary reason for not recommending this property is due to our dealings with the host but there are other issues with the property. As has been said by other reviewers this property is very cluttered with very little space for renters to put any of their own things. The appliances are old, much of the china is chipped and we ended up buying our own pans rather than use the old aluminium ones in the property! The internet did not work at all for us, and Mariangela. who checked us in, told us...

"We felt a bit misled by the listing. It wasn’t disclosed that WiFi was sporadic at best; nonexistent at worst. The delightful “living room” with the “fireplace” shown in the photos, was in a detached building, completely unusable in March. We also had a 100 weekly fuel charge that wasn’t disclosed. But the view from the patio over the Tuscan Hills was spectacular, especially as Spring arrived. DO have Serena cook dinner for you! She is a treasure! 100 for"

"Lovely hotel. Nice rooms - but a bit dark. The restaurant was very good and well priced. All of the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. However without a car this hotel is quite isolated. The town nearby has very limited options for dining and shops."

"Beautiful, quiet and clean property that is a pleasure to come back to after a long day. Short taxi ride to city center and we also rented a car and it was not too far from places we wanted to visit. Great breakfast options at the buffet. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and pleasant. We had great massages, ate two delicious dinners and had breakfast there everyday. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend if you want to be close to everything but not in city center. "

"Beautiful hotel! Very clean and spacious room. It was four of us-me, my husband and our two kids (6 and 13 yrs). There was enough area in the room for all of us. It is loft style so there is a bed upstairs and one downstairs. It is right in front of the tram station so if you need to go anywhere just hop on the tram. We walked a lot and it was easy walk to Duomo, Uffizi and other central area. Lot of restaurants near by the hotel. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Florence next time. "
