About meal...: Upon request, it is possible to prepared Tuscany dishes, carefully cooked by my mom Mina. The dishes are those of the ancient Tuscan tradition such as Pappa al Pomodoro (a soup-like dish prepared with bread and tomatoes), Ribollita (a potpourri of local vegetables and bread, simmered for hours and hours), and Tripe with tomato sauce (a very typical Florentine dish).
The History: The villa was built in the XVII century. At the beginning of the '900 the Berni's family bought the villa for the summer holiday in the Florentine countryside. The villa has been lovingly and elegantly restored at the begging of the 2007 with traditional taste and contemporary comfort. The four fireplaces, terracotta floors and antique furnishings compliment the history of the villa, while the luxurious linens, modern bathrooms and air conditioning create a relaxing elegance in this tranquil country setting.
