"NO 'private bathroom' despite clearly stating this in the description. The communal bathroom was shared between 4 rooms (with the potential of 14 guests); it consisted of two cubicles one for a shower and the other a toilet with questionable flushing- everything else was open plan. To make matters worse the bathroom is situated next to the entrance. NO WiFi. "The riad is located a few minuets walk from the road on the side of a hill with spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains. The owner and staff are very knowledgable and helpful. The mountain guide they arranged for me was very good. The building is very basic and was rather cold when I stayed. However, it was spotlessly clean. For a stay in an authentic mountain village for those who don't need home comforts, this is a great place."

"Dar Atlas is slightly of the main road up the hill and in the woods. A short trek but quiet and away from some of the hustle of Imlil. Jamal and his family are wonderful. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The shower was nice and warm to help with the chilly nights. Great view of the mountains. "
