"We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. "This was our second stay at this location and, if possible, it was even better than our first. There are no words to describe the view in the fall and there was abundance of parking and lawn space. The view from the fire pit beats any television show - we literally just enjoyed ourselves outside for hours. Inside, the place is immaculate and comfortable, with plenty of blankets and linens."

"Tucked away up the side of a mountain overlooking foggy morning treelines. The hot tub was our favorite part, and the kitchen was lovely. It would be an awesome stay in late spring or early summer when we might have spent more time making use of the massive and beautiful deck."

"A very cozy and well-appointed house. Very comfortable furniture, lovely coffee bar, and well-stocked kitchen. A perfect getaway for a ladies’ weekend away. We very much enjoyed Shawnee State Park and the charming town of Bedford a short 30-min drive away. Only slight downside: it can be nerve-wracking turning into to driveway (right off busy 4-lane Rt. 30), and it was difficult to initially find as we arrived at night. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely stay here again! "
