Seaweed Holiday Home is a modern 3-bedroom holiday house located in the seaside town of Combe Martin on the North Devon coast. This newly refurbished self-catering property comfortably accommodates up to six guests plus two dogs and is within easy walking distance of the beach and local amenities, including shops, pubs and restaurants.

The house itself has a nautical theme and has been tastefully decorated throughout. Parking is immediately to the front of the house making it easy to park up and unload before setting off to find the beach. You enter the house via the lovely conservatory with wood bench and space for hanging coats or storing boots. Guests can also enter the house via the rear patio, which is great for those with wet dogs or sandy children, as here you will find a handy outdoor tap with a hose attachment, as well as a purpose built wet-suit hanger. For Easter 2021, a lockable storage facility ideal for bikes, kayaks or surfboards will be located to the rear of the house.

Once inside there is a large open plan living area divided into a comfy lounge, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. In the lounge there are two double sofas and an armchair, other features in the sitting area are a TV with freeview and a lovely wood burning stove, perfect for those cosy winter evenings after a day walking the South West Coast Path. The dining area has a table to seat six and meals can be created within the kitchen, which is fitted with an electric cooker and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine.

There are three bedrooms at the cottage, the first is located on the ground floor and has a standard double bed, this room is situated next door to the downstairs bathroom, which has a walk-in shower, a wash basin and a WC. The final two bedrooms are on the first floor and include a second double with standard size double bed and a large double with super king size bed, which on request can be separated into two single beds. Finally, on the first floor there is a family bathroom that has a bath with shower overhead, a wash basin and a WC.

DOG/PET POLICY
Two dogs are welcome at Seaweed. There is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking. Please notify us at time of booking, and the additional charge will be added to your booking. All payments must be made prior to arrival.

This is an excellent property very clean and all the amenities you need with a few extras that the lovely Nikka supplied, milk butter jam sourdough bread wine and lovely vase if flowers. Nikki and Mark were very helpful and in contact if needed. We would definitely recommend this property

Wonderful accommodation ideally situated within 3 minute walk to the beach and with two parking spaces outside the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in August from the minute we arrived. So many thoughtful little treats had been left for us including home made bread. The house was extremely clean and the owners eye for detail has to be seen to be believed. Communication with Nikki and Mark on What’s App meant that any small query we had was dealt with immediately. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future.

A lovely home
This lovely house was spanking clean, airy and cheerful. The kitchen has everything and more that we needed. The owners had added many kind, thoughtful extras to make our stay special. It’s in a lovely spot - two minutes from the beach. Local shops, cafes and restaurants are also on the doorstep. One of the bedrooms and shower room are downstairs, which was very helpful. I would recommend unreservably.

My wife, daughter and I stayed in the property for a week from 9 September 2022, and were totally impressed with everything, from it's position in Combe Martin and for the area, and especially the cleanliness and space. Also the friendly welcome pack of provisions - including the bread and wine. If ever we visit North Devon again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay in the property again and can thoroughly recommend it. In fairness we feel we should mention the only thing we commented on after arriving at the property, and that is that although the master bedroom had wardrobe space, the other two bedrooms didn't. BUT, this is only a very minor negative, and didn't affect our stay, but we feel it ought to be considered. Nevertheless, we would stay in the property again. Thank you so much.
