"The staff was very welcoming. We loved the craft beer happy hour and our private outdoor bath. We also loved the local people we met eating outside of the hotel and shopping for pottery. We stayed for the proximity to Zao Aki resort. We didnt use it but there was a free shuttle for that. "

"The room was on the top floor overlooking the lake but the trees blocked most of the view. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. It would have been good to have smaller pillows available in the room. I ended up rolling up a towel to make a smaller pillow. Meals were included in the stay and there was plenty of variety. Only real bummer is that I think I left my Prescription Progressive Glasses in the room and can't get anyone to pick up the phones & check!"

"The area definitely wasn’t worth the price I paid but worth it so I could go to Zao onsen "
