"Beautiful vista, food was great (strongly recommend doing a dinner reservation AND a breakfast reservation) owner was extremely kind and generous. He spoke better English than I spoke Japanese, which made it extremely easy to meet in the middle. 10/10 experience."

"Quel séjour formidable dans cette maison ancienne et familiale, perdue dans la montagne ! Cette maison est immense, traditionnelle, et surtout, chargée de 150 ans d'histoire. "This ryokan is intended to be a place you go to relax. There isn’t a lot to do by design, other than eat, sleep, onsen, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in comfort. We did half-board and the food is fantastic. The staff were very nice. The onsen were beautiful, especially the open air one on the fourth floor. There are six or seven onsen total including the three private ones. "
