"Overall, I'd say the stay was fine. I had gone for 3 nights with my wife and 3y old. Property is gorgeous and they offer lots of activities to keep you engaged (albeit quite expensive). All the activities we undertook were great. Friendly staff, decent emphasis on safety, etc. Scuba diving with their instructor, Sam was especially good if you're a beginner. The spa is very good. The food was pretty average. Everything we ordered was usually a disappointment. Not at all 5* quality. Meal service...

"The Baros Hotel was one of the best resort experiences we have ever had! The island itself is beautiful and the resort blends in nicely with the environment. The staff were excellent and even helped us with staying on the island until our 1:45 AM flight. The food was excellent, especially the French cuisine at The Lighthouse. "We really loved the small and intimate feel of the resort. The staff really went out of their way to create a great experience for all the guests. One of the highlights of this location is their home reef just steps from the beach. They will give you snorkel equipment and if the weather had been nicer when we stayed (during August Monsoon), I could have spent the whole day out there. We did bite the bullet and go out snorkeling when the weather showed no signs of letting up and still saw a lot...
