"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. "Property was quirky but was clean and had everything we needed. We booked at very short notice & We had a loft room which was huge with a double bed for our daughter as well as us. It was on the 3rd floor with no lift which was a bit of a challenge with our luggage. Breakfast was expensive for what was available but arriving late the night before it was easiest option. Overall a nice hotel which was good value in a good location in Le Mans. "

"The address on google maps put us way off. Took us an hour to find the hotel. One found, check in was easy. Romm was clean and quiet. We paid extra for parking, but car was secure underground and less distance to haul baggage! Many restaurants across the river in the old area, but some require reservations as they are busy! "

"House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."

"Price good and great location for EV drivers, so many charging options. Has a nice little bar area and the breakfast was very good. The room was a little stale smelling (smelt a little like people have been smoking in there) which is why my review score is reduced. Otherwise a good experience and we will return. "

"Not luxurious, but perfectly good for a one night business stay. Tucked away in a industrial/retail estate. Room was in a delegate block to the reception and breakfast room. Good continental breakfast offering. Would stay again. "

"Very helpful Staff, clean room and public areas, dog firendly, free parking adjacent to the hotel. My personal opinion is that the Dinner and Breakfast costs are too high for a 3* Hotel. The qualioty of food was excellent but as a traveller staying only for 1 night I did not need such expensive meal options. In fact I declined breakfast because of the cost"

"I reserved this room because Expedia lists it as having AC. We stayed in Sept and there was no AC. Were told by the desk they turn it off in the fall. Expedia needs to specify this hotel may not have AC depending on the whim of the owner. Windows open with rain, bad weather, traffic and no bug screens. Pass on to another hotel with accurate description. "

"We absolutely love this property. This is our 3rd stay here. It has olde world charm, beautiful ambiance, lovely staff, lots of amenities and dog friendly. What’s not to like. All guests meet for drinks prior to dinner and eat at the same time. Unusual, yes but it works. "

"An excellent place to stay prior to catching the Caen ferry. The hotel was easily accessed, with a large secure parking area Very welcoming with a comfortable room and a good breakfast was available. There is a very large Le Clerc close by with a restaurant which provided a good evening meal and an opportunity to get items to take home. "
