Mountain Retreat
The house has great views of trees and mountains. It has a trail that leads right up to the house and goes down to a running creek. Everything we needed was in the house and easily accessible. Our family enjoyed our stay.

Off the path
Had a great getaway. House was great, but is off the beating path. We travelled around the area and enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities. Phone service is sparse, internet useable, but slow. However, we enjoyed the much needed slower pace. Nice rooms and bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen for cooking.

Absolutely Gorgeous
Property and house are both amazing!! We were able to hike on the property back to a waterfall area which was gorgeous. You do not have cell reception outside of the house (house had WiFi) but it’s nice to be able to disconnect from phones (especially when you have a teenage daughter!). Brian was easy to get ahold of if we had any questions and responded. Would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect Stay
This was everything we could have hoped for. The property is remote but close enough to Idaho Springs for grocery and gas runs. We took day trips to a few larger towns and Rocky Mountain National Park but spent most of our time exploring trails and hiking nearby. The kitchen is amazingly well-stocked and we took full advantage of that perk. We saw deer nearly every night and once a large herd of elk. I cannot stress enough how perfect and relaxing this location is if you're looking to get away. Communication with Brian was great, I never had a question go understand and he was so accommodating. We would very happily stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Idaho springs for our nieces wedding. Your home is beautiful and welcoming!! Clean and well appointed. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Great house in the mountains
The moment you walk in, the pictures don’t do it justice. A very pretty well furnished home. Brian was easy to get a hold of and answered question we had. We had to cut our stay short because of the MAJOR snow storm that was coming in Wednesday afternoon and Thursday all day. We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay for a ski trip with friends
We stayed at this property for 4 nights and the stay was really good. Owner was very responsive and it was very quiet neighborhood. One small problem was that the internet speed, it was pretty slow and owner also did not know what was going on. Apart from that everything else was really cool.

Six of us had to go to Idaho Springs for a family function. The place was amazing plenty of firewood, great kitchen, plenty of extra chairs, bedding, very very scenic amazing place to stay will definitely stay again.

Amazing property located in a beautiful grass valley. Hiking trails, short and long all within walking distance of this property. Great house with plenty of room, large kitchen and comfortable living room with a fireplace. You will absolutely love this location!!!!

Beautiful home with fabulous views and so much to do nearby. We enjoyed shopping, dining and ziplining in the small town of Idaho Springs. Red Rocks Amphitheater was an easy drive for a concert we were attending. We only wish out trip was longer so we could have enjoyed the house a little longer. I definitely recommend this property.

Amazing location, beautiful views. Not too far from the city, but far enough to feel "away". Host was very helpful when we had some minor issues getting setup. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely consider this location again.
